Tahira Wasti (Punjabi, Urdu: طاہرہ واسطی) (1944 – 11 March 2012) was a well-known Pakistani writer and television actress.[3] She was one of the leading actresses on Pakistani television screens.[4] She was one of the most popular actresses of her time and was one of the most successful actresses of the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s.[5][4] She is best known for her portrayal of Isabella of Castile in the TV drama Shaheen.[1]
