The "remuneration" listed is at best misstated, at worst factually wrong. I have served as a Calculus reader in 2007 and 2008; the stipend in both years is along the lines of $1500 (off the top of my head; can't recall the exact number). If you add in the costs of the (very nice) hotel, the (wretched) food, and the travel, then quite possibly the total amount comes to an average of $2200 per reader. The current wording of the article implies that the costs of hotel, food, and the travel is in addition to the $2200.

It's possible that ETS is planning a surprise in my mailbox this year, but I doubt it. It's also possible that readers in other subjects are paid much more highly than readers of Calculus (my vague understanding is that they are having a hard time finding readers in some subjects) but this should be clarified if so.
