All symbolic sculpture would be "allegorical" in this present sense, including the Winged Victory of Samothrace. Wikipedia has articles symbol, emblem and allegory that are intended to disentangle the interrelated meanings. --Wetman 22:57, 13 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
