I've removed the sentence (or two?) "The direct Spanish translation for Ann is Pilar.Turkish, which means mother."

The direct Spanish translation of Ann is Ana. Pilar is a Spanish given name, but it is related to Mary rather than St. Ann. In any event, it is the direct translation of "pillar". Anne is the Turkish word for mother, but unless this can be shown to be related to the Hebrew-Greco-Latin-European name Anne, it doesn't belong in this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.135.189.179 (talk) 16:08, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
