I have my doubts whether Insurgentes was paved and changed its name under President Miguel Aleman, could have much been earlier. Does any one have a good source on this?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by LS1010 (talk • contribs).
My source said the Avenue was widened and became a dwelling place of the rich during Aleman's administration. Somebody else added that it was renamed for the Independence centennial, and I don't know where they got that. Maybe we can find out for sure from Salvador Novo?--Rockero05:21, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
