Prose and MoS

[edit]
 Done
  • Dreamtime boulder, just for clarification it shouldn't be italicized since it's referring to the boulder itself and not the climb, correct?
Agreed, it is referring to the boulder.

Infobox and lead

[edit]
  • Make the coordinates of the location a little less specific, check [1] for a guideline.
 Done, is that okay?
  • (33 ft), change to (33-foot).
 Done
  • route in climbing history, add a comma at the end.
 Done

History

[edit]
  • softened, softening, unless a proper climbing term, change it to something more formal. Though can use quotes for these terms.
Done, changed to 'lowered' and 'lowering'
  • 'dreamtime', add [sic] template.
Done, have I got that right?
  • The Dagger V14 (8B+), The Dagger, which is graded as V14 (8B+).
 Done

Variations

[edit]
  • German climber Yannick Flohé create, change create to created.
 Done
  • but at the crux goes right, but at the crux, he goes right.
 Done
  • directly up the boulder, add a comma at the end.
 Done
  • Return of the Dreamtime,, remove comma.
 Done

Legacy

[edit]
  • In a 2009 article on Dreamtime, PlanetMountain said: "So beautiful and important, the Dreamtime immediately did as its name suggests, it made everyone dream and, in doing so, it became a reference point for cutting-edge problems, one of the most famous boulders in the world, second perhaps only to Midnight Lightning, freed by Ron Kauk in 1978 at Camp Four in Yosemite.[4] Others have also labeled Dreamtime as being the world's most famous boulder route,[20] often along with Midnight Lightning, and credited it for promoting the development of the sport.[6], where does the quotation end? The references don't support the 2009 article claim.
Done That was the wrong reference, I have added the correct ref that has the entire sentence as a quote.
  • Climbing, listed Dreamtime and The Story of Two Worlds,, remove unnecessary commas.
 Done
  • Repeating Dreamtime became a rite-of-passage for every major boulder climber., add considered.
Done, changed to Repeating Dreamtime is considered a rite-of-passage for major boulder climbers

Ascents

[edit]
  • No issues on prose and MoS.

Refs

[edit]
  • Formatted properly.
  • Reference 1 should be changed as it's mainly user generated. Thought it can also be omitted.
Not done 'theCrag' is a very well regarded database of international climbing route (the European version of Mountain Project), which climbers would recognise as authoritive. It is therefore okay to keep this? thanks
Understand, thanks.
  • Reference 6 should have the original German title as the title, could put a "trans-title=" template for it. Also specify the language using "lang=de". Also do this with references 22, 25, 27, and 32, with their respective languages and titles.
Done added "trans-title" and "language" to reference 6; however  Not done, do I still need to change their titles to the original language or can I keep the en translated versions?
      • Please use the original titles alongside the translated titles. See reference 2 on Laufey (singer) for a guide.
Done, hopefully I have got that right.
  • Reference 11 needs to use the archived version, link leads to updated website and not the source.
Done, replaced that with a new reference that has Hojer's original quote.

Spotchecks

[edit]
  • Earwig and manual check is okay, pass. Earwig just picks up quotes.

Images

[edit]
  • Images are relevant and have proper licensing.

Misc

[edit]
  • No ongoing edit war, broad and focused on the topic.
    • @Aszx5000: Here are my comments, hope they can be addressed!
      • @Aszx5000:, please check the remainder of my comments on Refs. Also italicize the name of the climb in the infobox, my apologies.
        • @Arconning:, have made alll those suggested changes now. thanks.
