Only the Southern Pacific and Cotton Belt SD40T-2s were built with the 4400 gallon fuel tank. The Rio Grande units had the shorter 4000 gallon fuel tank. Cotton Belt owned 10 SD40T-2s. ----SSW9389 22:01, 19 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
