Talk:Early Entrance Program (CSU)

I went in and added the Notable Alumni page, but will leave it up to others to fill it in beyond the two that I could think of off the top of my head. Looks like someone previously tried to add citations to the ACT bit, but did it incorrectly? I added 'citation needed' tags to the parts that were pointing to nothing, and added some proper citations to the content. In general, though, the whole thing is too long in my opinion, and the language is indeed not encyclopedic/full of NPOV issues. Application section doesn't need so many sections, can be condensed down to a paragraph of short description with links to actual content. EEPster experience is certainly not objective, if there aren't citations (e.g. to the CSULA webpage) then those should be taken down. I'll leave this here for a bit and see if it ruffles feathers, if not I'll come back at some point and edit the page down. Citation tag can probably be removed now? - Lmrta (talk) 09:28, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No citations, and written with language that is not encyclopedic. NPOV issues all around. Needs work to get up to par. A lot of unnecessarily flowery and subjective language make this page sound like an advertisement, and are all uncited.-Shillyshally (talk) 17:56, 13 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The EEP lounge is in King Hall KHD140, while there is also an EEP kitchen, which is located in KHD142. -Anonymous dude — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.136.170.168 (talk) 06:09, 19 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

sorry to eliminate the joke everyone, but i think someone has to look at a couple things here and decide whether it is good in its current form. case: "Mr Maddox has basically designed the modern day EEP, and has been the leader of the Program for many years." if rich wrote that himself then i guess we should leave it, but otherwise the wording "modern day EEP" sounds strange. also, 'modern day' needs a hyphen. i would do this myself, but i'm not sure if i should. you guys know my email. tell me what you think -Julian

Well, Rich did write that, but using my account. -the person who is not Hamster Boy

Just to let all you guys know, I will be working very hard on this page during summer break, so don't worry if you think this article sounds crappy right now. -Ynezeepster

If anyone was wondering why I did not put a link to the "official" website of EEP, I saw that the website was down the last time I checked it out.-ynezeepster

there are other programs under this name, perhaps they should be included as well. i know the university of washington has one.
