I just heard the term EDC used on a review of a multi-tool (Youtube) and had no clue what it might mean. A Google search revealed mostly companies or organisations. This article explained it clearly and concisely. I only wish it was longer and would go into more detail. It sounds like there is a stronger philosophy behind it with some people identifying with EDC and companies producing and marketing products to this group.
