This page could do with further cleanups and information, including the creation of a disambiguation page for Duku (which is currently a redirection page to a plant https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Duku&redirect=no) and redirection pages for some of the other terms mentioned in the article.
It's interesting that some of the words in various African languages are so similar to Afrikaans, but I've been unable to find any definitive link between the two, the original Dutch word apparently meaning "cloth".
I have no specialist knowledge on the topic, but got reading after being led to look up Doek on Wikipedia from a document I was editing.
