This page is neither about a company nor about a corporation. It is about a not-for-profit organisation, and the growing field of information-and-communication-technologies-for-development (or ICT4D).

Just because the organisation comes from a Latin American or African or Asian context, does not mean it lacks "notability". This, as we have discussed at length on the Wikipedia mailing-list, should not be judged by the visibility of the English-language web alone.
