It should be noted that this group has chosen Thailand which is presently a dictatorship as it's destination for its 11th World Conference of the International Ombudsman Institute (11th IOI World Conference. Thailand's present government is not elected and does not allow open and free discussion of anything political especially topics related to the Junta in power or human rights. The Thai regime in power appears in typical form of a democracy but is in fact was all appointed by the the Junta leader, Prayuth Chan-ocha, who now calls himself prime minister. Please take note, that the IOI through its choice, is saying it is willing to work with fascist regimes and dictatorships seeing them as equal to democracies in its world of Ombudsmanship. If I am wrong about this please let's hear a statement why this conference is held under a Junta.NaturalEquality (talk) 05:03, 15 November 2016 (UTC)
