Some of my comments from Sakura Wars 3 are going to apply here as well, sorry if I sound redundant or am re-asking questions I got answers to in that review.
Described as a dramatic adventure game, by whom?
"ending up much shorter than previous Sakura Wars games." Shorter to make it, or shorter in terms of actual gameplay content?
Date range the Taishō period.
"If the player has save data from the Dreamcast versions of the last three Sakura Wars titles, Ogami's possible romance choices are incorporated into the narrative." You mean his remantic choices from earlier games? I'm a bit confused by this sentence.
"In their role as a theatre trope" Think you mean "troupe" here.
"The production proved challenging due to the necessary integration of new video software and create the smoothest possible gameplay experience to date;" Need more punctuation in this sentence.
"For reference, the team used Kuroiwa Shūroku's translation, which included character names rendered in kanji rather than katakana. " Source?
Just to clarify, it wasn't released anywhere outside Japan? The "wider localization" part makes it sound like SOME localization work was done to some other languages.
