Tasks not needing expert attention:
- improve clarity of writing,
- use citations templates to nicify references
Tasks needing expert attention:
- write and refer to solar system tests (time delay, precession of perihelia, light bending),
- rewrite introduction to say that gravitational time dilation arises from divergence of null geodesics near a massive object (language like The curvature of space-time, whether it is closed, flat, or open, affects how fast things happen in one locale of space time versus another. The space-time fabric can be thought of as having a distinct rate of change which is lower for a closed space-time fabric and higher for a flat or open space-time fabric is terribly misleading).
- information wanted about the effects of time dilation and the values for Gravitational Potential Energy in hyperbolic (open) space-time
- give derivation of at least simplified version of result (see e.g. Ohanian & Ruffini),
- plug in some numbers, compare with observations reported by Shapiro et al.,
- better citations (e.g. recent arXiv preprint on a general time-delay formula)
- section Shapiro delay near collapsing compact stars remove if it has no point (none that I can see), else rewrite to clarify the point, whatever that might be.
