Ethnicity or culture of the monks:
I have removed all references to the ethnicity or culture of the monks as no source cited clearly states whether or not they were Byzantine, Persian, or whatever. The sources merely speculate on their religion. Even if they were Nestorians, which isn't confirmed, it would be a gross assumption to call them "Persian". If someone can find a source, and cite it, then that'd be great, however, at this moment we should not mention their ethnic group or culture. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lordcherrymoore (talk • contribs) 08:31, 25 July 2014, (UTC)
