Talk:Tasharvat

Hi, the silk-road adventures reference, found by TrangaBellam (talk · contribs), has the following statement: "The first mentions of the Tasharvat fortification were found in 1871 - 1872. Archaeological research has shown that at the end of the XIXth century, the building was inhabited." This seems quite important information, but I need expert opinion on how to interpret it. The first sentence is ambiguous: it could either mean that in 1871, someone first uncovered mentions that fortifications existed (presumably much prior to 1871), or it could mean that it is known that the first mentions of their being fortifications place those fortifications as existing in 1871. The latter makes more sense from the 2nd sentence, which is important in establishing that this was an inhabited place, not just a watering-hole. Any opinion on which it is?
