Talk:Theosophical Society Adyar

It is nonesense to have this organisation be called 'theosophical society of India'. http://www.ts-adyar.org/ is the TS main website, and yes, Adyar is in India, but the TS is never called 'of India', because it is a world-wide organisations (as the international links in the links-page testifies).

Recent additions has made the article unnecessarily long. Added material may be available elsewhere on Internet and replacing the material with links would shorten the article.

There were a lot of nitty gritty details of internal administrative matters about which the pubic is not interested. These can be found in other sources in Internet and hence have been deleted. Also the article was too long and with the deletion, the length has been reduced

Senzar (talk) 04:40, 7 August 2009 (UTC) During the last few days we saw quite a few additions. Most of these seem to be emotional reaction by one or more disgruntled former employees and public has no interest in nitty gritty administrative complaints. Public's interest is in what the organization stands for and how it is furthering its objectives and some important historical material. For those interested in discussing specific internal and administrative issues there are several other Internat forums such as theos-talk in yahoo.groups.com theosophical.ning.com, theosophy.net. Some of these are mentioned in the article.[reply]
