This article has been checked against the following criteria for B-class status:
The article states that "Shark was deactivated, in commission, on 16 October 1986." This date seems too early - as a U.S. Naval Academy midshipman, I did my youngster cruise in June 1987 on USS Shark, and I don't recall it being "deactivated" in any way at that point.
The dates given in the article agree with those listed here, which is one of the few comprehensive sites on the Web that doesn't just copy Wikipedia's data. If you have a source we can verify that gives different dates, we'd love to see it.
