To-do list for Utah Lake: edit · history · watch · refresh · Updated 2010-12-24
- Completed or in-process
Create a History section. See Wikipedia:WikiProject Historical information
Shorten and rework the lead section and add some of its contents to the main article (see Wikipedia:Lead section for more info). Partially done, some expanding needed.
Expand ecosystem section with what non-native species have been introduced (when and why, if possible), how they have affected the lake, population numbers, etc.
Review Utah Division of Water Quality Report and add any information that is not outdated to the article.used other sources from journal articles
Mention the pacu that was caught in the lake. [1][2][3][4][5] One fish is not worth the mention... Alot of other stuff have been found that people threw away.
Create Geography and hydrology section(s).
Mention the pumping station on the Jordan River, which regulates the level of the lake (it is still a natural lake).
Mention boat harbors on the lake, e.g. Provo, Lindon, American Fork, and Linclon Beach harbors.
Create Endangered and extinct species subsection for June sucker and Utah Lake sculpin, explain reasons for status and brief descriptions of fish.
Expand geography section, naming mountain ranges surrounding the lake.
Cite sources using footnotes. - Mostly done, any more unsourced statements can be tagged with {{fact}} at a minimum, every paragraph should have a source.
- Make sure the article is thoroughly copy-edited. See: Wikipedia:How to copy-edit. Working
