I'm an ardent reader of short fiction (American mostly). I recently reread Carver's Viewfinder. I then noticed Wikipedia carrying an article on the story. I have a feeling the "analysis" in the article is unwarrantedly subjective and somewhat ideology driven, and that it fails to do justice to the quality of the story from a purely literary viewpoint. The abstract of the story at the beginning of the article misses some of the story´s essential building blocks. I agree with the issues raised by Wikipedia regarding the article.
