Talk:Whidbey Telecom

The south end of Whidbey is often called South Whidbey and I'd appreciate it if anyone has any opions on how to properly phrase that in this article. TEG 19:43, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm currently working on this article, and will be expanding it shortly. TEG 19:43, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Whidbey Telecom is unique because it is completely locally owned and has never been a part of a larger company" I doubt it. See Kingston Communications for one. Unusual (and I've edited as such) but not unique. Emeraude 16:48, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

MDM ?
"The DSL prices are very compeditive [sic; spelling now corrected], even given that Whidbey Telecom is the only provider available in their service area, aside from Comcast, MDM, and HughesNet." The "MDM" link goes to a disambiguation page that apparently contains nothing relevant. What is "MDM"?

Whidbey Telecom also has a 729 prefix if additional numbers are needed.

This looks questionable, as http://www.localcallingguide.com/lca_prefix.php?npa=360&nxx=729 lists this as a Qwest exchange in Vancouver, Washington - pretty much clear across the state. K7L (talk) 02:14, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
