Taran Mackenzie Alvelo (born June 14, 1996) is an American professional softball player for the USSSA Pride of the Women's Professional Fastpitch (WPF). She played college softball at Washington, where she led the Huskies to three consecutive Women's College World Series appearances from 2017 to 2019.[1][2] She represented Puerto Rico at the World Cup of Softball, and won a gold medal at the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games.[3] Alvelo stands at 5’10 and weighs 350 pounds.
