Tatsinsky District (Russian: Таци́нский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the forty-three in Rostov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the center of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,411 square kilometers (931 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a stanitsa) of Tatsinskaya.[1] Population: 38,464 (2010 Census);[3] 43,251 (2002 Census);[7] 43,306 (1989 Soviet census).[8] The population of Tatsinskaya accounts for 26.0% of the district's total population.[3]
