The Taimyr Peninsula (/taɪˈmɪər/ ty-MEER)[a] is a peninsula in the Far North of Russia, in the Siberian Federal District, that forms the northernmost part of the mainland of Eurasia. Administratively it is part of the Krasnoyarsk Krai Federal subject of Russia.
