Departure of the last British troops from India

- Comment: This article was listed before seven days when I was on a Wikibreak. The GA had taken too long with no communication for some time from the reviewer, hence it couldn't be concluded before I could go on my Wikibreak. I am of the opinion that the DYK is engaging enough to be on the main page. I would be eager to hear from others. Tamravidhir (talk) 09:22, 13 October 2019 (UTC)
Improved to Good Article status by Tamravidhir (talk). Self-nominated at 09:22, 13 October 2019 (UTC).
- Improved to GA within 7 days of nomination. New enough, long enough. Only ping on Earwigs is from an extended quote in one of the footnotes. Nominator is QPQ exempt. Hook is short enough and interesting. Assuming good faith on the offline source. Morgan695 (talk) 16:12, 31 October 2019 (UTC)
