Michel Klein (veterinarian)

- ... that in the 1950s, Michel Klein (pictured) opened one of the first veterinary practices in Paris?
- Source: "Michel Klein, born in 1921 in Romania, studied at the veterinary school in Toulouse, a city where he joined the resistance before fleeing to Spain. Back after the war, he was one of the first to open a veterinary office in Paris in the 1950s."

- The article lacks some basic biographical facts: he was born in Sighet (not in generic northwestern Romania), and he was Jewish, the specific reason most of his family perished at Auschwitz. In Toulouse, he did not attend an unspecified veterinary school, but the École nationale vétérinaire de Toulouse. He was not simply in the vast “French Resistance”, but, as the first source I supplied indicates, in a network run by the Special Operations Executive. And so on.
