Beer, the defining beverage of the experience, is poured into small shot glasses and refilled by petite, pretty beer ladies who go table to table offering patrons whatever brand of beer they’ve been paid to promote. And it works: rechao restaurants account for nearly 45 percent of all beer sales in the country."

Overall: Great work as usual @Cunard:. At first, I was a little uncertain as to whether this quite met the interest threshold. However, after reading the hook, it made me want to click on the article to find out what Rechao was. So, I think it meets the dominant purpose of a hook and hence passes with ease.
