Overall: @Krisgabwoosh: Great job! WIll AGF due to spanish sources. Onegreatjoke (talk) 00:45, 5 November 2022 (UTC)
@Krisgabwoosh: this needs a better citation in the article. The article just says he "studied to become an auto mechanic", but the hook says he worked as one, which isn't quite the same thing. Also, needs a citation at the end of the sentence that states the fact. -- RoySmith(talk) 14:27, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
Reading the sentence following that, you'll find: "He worked at various workshops in the city and did maintenance on heavy machinery for private companies", evidencing that he exercised the profession. Krisgabwoosh (talk) 16:52, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
WP:DYKCRIT says The hook should include a definite fact that is mentioned in the article. You shouldn't need to put two sentences together and infer the fact from that. -- RoySmith(talk) 19:32, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
I do not understand how a sentence stating that he studied to become an auto mechanic and then a second one stating that he worked as auto mechanic do not constitute evidence that he was a bloody auto mechanic. Taking a look at the original source, his profession is listed as "auto mechanic". In the text he states, verbatim, "I am an auto mechanic and technician". Now, if you'd like, I could easily re-word the article itself to state "he studied to become an auto mechanic. He worked as an auto mechanic" but I contest that this is overly pedantic. @Krisgabwoosh: any chance the jach'a mallku cantonal could be made understandable to English-speaking readers at first glance? theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/her) 07:46, 14 December 2022 (UTC)
Unfortunately, most of those terms don't appear to have concisely explainable translations. Personally, I think the untranslated term makes the hook more interesting, but perhaps it could be changed to "before being named mallku of his ayllu". That, at least, is a bit more easily interpretable. Krisgabwoosh (talk) 19:10, 14 December 2022 (UTC)
