This article is based on material taken from the Free On-line Dictionary of Computing prior to 1 November 2008 and incorporated under the "relicensing" terms of the GFDL, version 1.3 or later.
Wikipedia could originally import material directly from FOLDOC as both Wikipedia and FOLDOC used the GFDL as their sole content license. Since Wikipedia switched to dual licensing on June 16, 2009, content from FOLDOC added after 1 November 2008 is no longer validly licensed for use on Wikipedia under the terms of the GFDL and must be treated as being non-free use. Articles composed entirely of content from FOLDOC added to Wikipedia after 1 November 2008 should be blanked using the {{copyvio}} template and listed at WP:CP. |
