Parameters
[edit]All parameters are optional.
- name = Tournament name, if different from the article title
- currentlyrunning = Current season (If there's an article, wikilink it)
- logo or image = Tournament logo specified (If using logo, use a File: tag, if using image, don't)
- caption = Caption for logo/image above
- irish = Name of tournament in Irish
- code = Code of sport, i.e. Hurling
- founded = Year (or date if available) of founding
- firstspan1 and firstspan2 will display as a range
- abolished = Year (or date if available) of abolishment
- region = GAA region, i.e. Leinster
- trophy = Name of trophy
- number of teams = Number (or names of if few) of participating teams
- firstwin = Name of first title holders
- title holders = Name of current title holders
- currentordinal = Number of titles won by title holders. The template will add "st", "nd", "rd" or "th" as appropriate.
- most titles = Name of team with most titles
- mostordinal = Number of titles won by most successful team, displayed as "N titles"
- sponsors = Name of tournament sponsors
- tv = Name of television broadcasters
- motto = Any official motto the tournament may have
- website = URL to the official tournament website
