The Great White Pelican (Pelecanus onocrotalus) is a large pelican species found from southeastern Europe through Asia and in Africa. At a mass of 10 kg (22 lb), 160 cm (63 in) long and with a 280 cm (110 in) wingspan, it is second in size only to the Dalmatian Pelican.Photo credit: Dakoman
