Hello, I'm Example and thank you for your contributions. You recently created a page in the form 'See link'; though useful, a redirect page is even more useful. You can create a redirect page by typing
#REDIRECT link target
This is very easy because this is the only thing you are required to do when performing a redirect. Redirects are more useful than See link pages because they automatically load up the target page when the original page is loaded, saving time; they are also easier to automatically monitor. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.
This template should always be substituted (i.e., use ). Any accidental transclusions will be automatically substituted by a bot. |
How to use:

references a specific article
adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you"
or
also adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you", but doesn't link a page as specified by the article.

rather than Uw-sl
.1=
" if the article contains an equals sign and use "2=
" if the additional text contains an equals sign (such as a URL).
