This template is used in conjunction with a sub-template (Template:Video game titles/item) to create a table to display information for a single video game or related title in a stand-alone list of video game titles. Not all parameters will be used. Different combinations of parameters are used to display different table formats.

This template creates a simple table frame to be filled with rows created by the sub-template {{Video game titles/item}}
. Multiple rows are created by stacking item templates inside the main template. The two templates must be used together to properly generate the table. The main template does not have any special parameters other than accepting instances of {{Video game titles/item}}
. The item sub-template has multiple parameters to display the video game title's information as well as alter the format of the table rows.
To be readable on mobile, the table is styled differently on narrow screens – try resizing your window to see it in action.
If any of parameter strings (article, title, etc.) contains substring "!!
" (without quotes) it will be interpreted as a cell separator and therefore it will break the table layout. To avoid so, "!!
" must be replaced by "!!
".
