Work in progress; comments welcome
Purpose
[edit]The purpose of the "work in progress" tag is to identify reports at Wikipedia:Wikiquette assistance that are active and need attention. Editors are invited to review and participate.
The template is not for general use on article or projectpage talk pages. Every topic on such pages that is not {{Resolved}}, {{Stale}} or {{Stuck}}, remains a "work (or topic, rather) in progress", by definition.
Usage

Work in progress; comments welcomeTo make an additional comment regarding the status of the work in progress, and/or to sign so that others know who marked the item as active:

Work in progress; comments welcomeThis parameter must be given as |1= or |reason= if any of its content contain the = character.
If you do not want a link to the talk page to be automatically created, you can set 2=nolink or type=nolink. For example:
