This is the template sandbox page for Template:WikiProject Alien (diff). |
To add an article to our worklist, put this template at the top of the article's Talk page with the following parameters:
{{WikiProject Alien
|class=XXX
|importance=YYY
}}
where class is chosen from this assessment scale, and importance is the importance to the Alien franchise according to this scale. Comments that explain the rating may be added by clicking on the link within the template; other comments and questions belong on the Talk page of the article itself.
There are, in addition, several optional arguments that you may use with this template:
{{WikiProject Alien
|class=XXX Described above
|importance=YYY Described above
|listas=ZZZZ Lists the page by an alternate name in categories, etc.
}}
|class=
blank or omit the parameter.|importance=
blank or omit the parameter.|listas=Weaver, Sigourney
so that the talk page will show up in the W's and not the S's of the various assessment and administrative categories). This is important because it is one source used by those who set DEFAULTSORT on the article; consider also setting the DEFAULTSORT for the article when setting this parameter. For more information about this, please see Wikipedia:Categorization of people § Ordering names in a category.|listas=
to that template instead of a project banner template. Putting the parameter on more than one template is not required.|category=no
if, and only if, a banner is being used for demonstration or testing purposes, to prevent unnecessary or undesirable categorization. Otherwise, omit this parameter.listas
field to change how the article is listed in categories and other filters. Use to list individual people by surname or for topics with titles beginning with an article such as "the" or "a". for example, for the article Sigourney Weaver use listas=Weaver, Sigourney
.
