This is the WikiProject banner template used by WikiProject Micronesia to keep track of articles within its scope.All articles are categorised into Category:WikiProject Micronesia articles.

Parameters

category – set |category=no if, and only if, a banner is being used for demonstration or testing purposes, to prevent unnecessary or undesirable categorization. Otherwise, omit this parameter.
listas – this parameter, which is the equivalent of the DEFAULTSORT sortkey that should be placed on all biographical articles, is a sortkey for the article talk page (e.g. for John Smith, use |listas=Smith, John so that the talk page will show up in the Smith's and not the John's of the various assessment and administrative categories. Similarly, for topics with titles beginning with an article such as "the" or "a" - e.g. for The Matrix, use |listas=Matrix, The so that the talk page will show up in the Matrix's. This is important because it is one source used by those who set DEFAULTSORT on the article; consider also setting the DEFAULTSORT for the article when setting this parameter. For more information about this, please see Wikipedia:Categorization of people#Ordering names in a category. It is not required if another WikiProject template on the same page has its own {{para|listas}} set, since it affects the sortkey of all banners and templates.
class – see #Quality assessment below.
importance – see #Importance assessment below.

Notes and alerts

attention – set |attention=yes if the article needs immediate attention from experienced editors. Use only if another parameter does not cover the need for attention; this should be used sparingly. It is strongly encouraged to also add a section to the talk page explaining what needs attention. This parameter populates Category:Micronesia articles needing attention.
needs-infobox – set |needs-infobox=yes if the article needs an infobox. Remember that infoboxes are not suitable for all articles, and can overwhelm short articles. This parameter populates Category:Wikipedia articles with an infobox request.
needs-photo – to request that an image or photograph be added to the page.
imagedetails – additional text to insert before the words "be added to this article" to describe the subject or type of image that is requested.
in – specify the location of the requested image. Will be categorised into Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in LOCATION, where LOCATION is the value of the |in= paramater. If no location is specified then Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Micronesia is used by default.
needs-map – set |needs-map=yes or any non-blank value other than "no", "n" or "0". The following message will be displayed: "It is requested that an a map be included in this article to improve its quality." This will populate Category:Wikipedia requested maps in Micronesia.
unref – set |unref=yes or any non-blank value other than "no", "n" or "0". The following message will be displayed: "This article lacks sufficient references and/or adequate inline citations." This will populate Category:Articles lacking sources.
needs-geocoord – set |needs-geocoord=yes or any non-blank value other than "no", "n" or "0". The following message will be displayed: "This article lacks geocoordinate (latitude;longitude) data. Once the geocoordinates data is added, please remove the |needs-geocoord= parameter from this template." This will populate Category:Micronesia articles missing geocoordinate data.
