TO ALL WHO VIEW AND EDIT THIS TEMPLATE FOR SUBARU MODELS:
We need to come up with a standardized rule as to whose model year system we're going to use.
People are constantly going in and changing model spans according to different countries' model years; i.e. in the USA, the first-gen Legacy was produced from 1990 to 1994, but in Japan, the first-gen had already been replaced by the second-gen Legacy in 1993.
I have re-edited the template back to reflect the USDM model spans. If we can reach an agreement as to whose model spans we're going to use, I'll accept whatever legitimate changes are made.
I understand that the USA isn't the only country or automotive market in the world, but I'm figuring the majority of users who use this template are in the USA, so it would make sense to have the template represent USDM model spans.
Until a legitimate argument is made otherwise however, I will continue to undo edits that show other countries' model spans so as to avoid confusion.

How is it my Subaru is older than this timeline? where is the Brat? Where are the Nakajima seaplanes? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.81.76.183 (talk) 23:13, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
