Tezontle (Spanish: tezontle) is a porous, highly oxidized, volcanic rock used extensively in construction in Mexico. It is usually reddish in color due to iron oxide.[1]
Tezontle is a well-cemented, agglomeritic and scoriaceous rock.[2]
