The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Company is notable as the longest-lasting Canadian-based clock manufacturer. Company advertisements explained the pronunciation of the name as "Say Peginaw."^[1] The company was also the first in Canada to successfully mass-produce clocks.^[2]
