The Bachelor is an Australian reality dating show, adapted from the popular American Bachelor franchise. The first season of The Bachelor premiered on 8 September 2013.[1] The season follows Tim Robards, a 30-year-old Sydney based chiropractor originally from Newcastle,[2] as he romantically pursues a cast of 25 women, with the goal of finding his wife.
