The Betrayal of the American Right is a book by Murray Rothbard written in the early 1970s and published by the Ludwig von Mises Institute in 2007.[1]

In it, Rothbard describes the development of the American political Old Right between the 1920s and 1950s,[2] claiming that it died out in favor of a more interventionist political Right during the Cold War.[3] It also describes Rothbard's own intellectual development during the period.[3][2]
