The Color Guard were a rock band from New York City from 2000 to 2007. Their sound combines heavy guitars with vocal harmonies, and they have been described as indie pop, art rock, goth rock, garage rock and psychedelic.[1] Depending on the album, the band has been compared to The Darkness, Evanescence, Liz Phair,[2] The Breeders, Veruca Salt, Sleater-Kinney, The Raincoats, and The Au Pairs.[3]
