Jason Bernard, Meredith Baxter, George Dzundza, and Troy Evans appear in supporting roles. The film premiered on ABC on May 27, 1985. For his performance, Crenna won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor - Miniseries or a Movie.
