The Sixth of July (‹See Tfd›Russian: Шестое июля) is a 1968 Soviet drama film directed by Yuli Karasik.[1][2][3] The film is based on the play with the same name by Mikhail Shatrov which is based on real historical events and is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Bolsheviks suppression of the Left SR Uprising, during the Russian Civil War.
