The South Wind (novel)

The South Wind (Arabic: ريح الجنوب; literally “The Wind of the South”) (1970) by Abdelhamid ben Hadouga is the first Algerian novel written in Arabic. It was ranked number fifty-three in the list of the 105 best Arabic novels issued by the Arab Writers Union, and it was made into a film in 1976.[1]
