Thanwa Boonsoongnern (Thai: ธันวา บุญสูงเนิน; born 1 December 1995), known professionally as The Toys, is a Thai singer, rapper, songwriter, musician and record producer. His song, "Na Nao Tee Laew (Last Winter)" went viral, getting him signed to What The Duck record company soon after.
After winning the 9th Overdrive Guitar Contest when he was 18, The Toys added bass, ukulele, piano, keyboards, synthesiser and drums. He writes, arranges, and plays all the instruments, and does the mixing and mastering.
The Toys came from a music family. He is the only son of Nittaya Boonsoongnern, a Thai pop singer from the 80s-90s, and the nephew of transsexual singer, Jern Jern Boonsoongnern.[1]
