The thick-billed ground pigeon (Trugon terrestris), also known as the jungle pigeon or the slaty/grey ground pigeon, is a species of bird in the family Columbidae. It is monotypic within the genus Trugon.[2] Native to New Guinea, its natural habitat is moist tropical lowland forest.
