Thilagavathi

Thilagavathi Palani (alternatively P. Thilagavathi, abbreviated as Thilaga;[1] born 13 September 1990[2]) is an Indian social activist and Therukoothu artist,[1][3] performing primarily through the form of Kattaikkuttu.[1][4] She is one of the founders of the Sri Krishna Kattaikattu Kuzhu, a Koothu group in Tamil Nadu.[2][5] Thilagavathi is the recipient of the Akademi Award for her contribution to traditional theatre.[6]
