Thirumayam is a town located in Pudukkottai district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.[1] It is a place of historical importance located about 22 km from the town of Pudukkottai & 22 km from the city of Karaikudi. The noted Indian independence activist Sathyamurthy was born in Thirumayam in 1887.
