Thomas Felton Riley (July 6, 1912 – February 19, 1998) was a decorated officer of the United States Marine Corps with the rank of brigadier general. He is most noted for his service during the Guadalcanal Campaign as the commanding officer of First Aviator Engineer Battalion. Riley completed his career as Inspector General of the Marine Corps in 1964 and then served as Orange County Supervisor 1974–1994[1] as well as Chair of the Orange County Board of Supervisors from 1977–1979, 1985–1986, and 1989–1990, and Vice Chair from 1984–1985 and 1988–1989.
